A studio's year in four orders | Custom Screen Printing

Most studios buy on a rhythm. Planning around it makes each order easier.

Fall registration. A class tee or studio tee given to each new student, usually the largest order of the year. Order early enough that shirts are in hand for the first class.

Competition season. Matching hoodies, jackets or warm-up pieces for the team. These are smaller orders, often 12 to 40 pieces, and the design is usually more personal.

Recital or showcase. Shirts for every performer, plus a separate shirt for staff and volunteers. Quantities run from 50 to 300 and the date cannot move.

Spring and summer. Camp shirts, end-of-year gifts and refreshed designs for the next season.

How early should we order recital shirts?

Aim to approve the proof at least a few weeks before the show. That leaves room for the 5 to 10 business days most orders need and for sizes to change.

Can we sell shirts to parents?

Yes. Many studios order a small retail run for the front desk. Because there is no minimum, you can start small.

Do you print for martial arts studios?
